Rose Valley Winery is committed to making quality wines from locally-grown, cold-hardy grapes. We strive to present the “Gifts of Nature” in a simple and personal manner. Valley Mist Vineyards was established in 2008. 1500 hybrid grapevines were planted on the Moore's Property that overlooks Rose City in Ogemaw County. Varieties include Marquette, Brianna, Swenson Red, Cayuga White, and Frontenac. The winery was built in Spring of 2010l specializing in Estate~Bottled wines using local fruits and grapes in production.

Thunder Bay Winery is located in the historic Center Building in downtown Alpena. Come for a sampling of elegance and wine samples featuring grape and fruit wines. Experience the charm of this family owned and operated vineyard and winery. Wine may be purchased by the bottle or enjoyed at the winery by the glass. Thunder Bay Vineyards is located on 10 acres just outside of Ossineke. The vineyard has been in operation since 2005. Currently, eleven varieties of wine grapes are grown on the property in addition to a variety of fruits including: apples, peas, cherries, jostaberries, elderberries, and blueberries. The grapes and fruit are all hand planted, pruned, and harvested. Each year additional grape vines and fruit trees are planted.

Stoney Acres Winery is proud to offer a unique wine tasting experience during all hours of operation. Come and immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings the Sunrise Side has to offer. Our small boutique winery, was established in 1999 in Alpena, Michigan. The business began by providing beer and wine equipment and ingredients for the home beer and wine maker while the signature wines were being carefully produced from fruit grown by local farms. In January of 2003 the wines were introduced to the public in the tasting room located within the winery. Beginning with the Silver City Red (Merlot) and Silver City White (Riesling) in the grape variety and the Apple, Blueberry, Strawberry and Raspberry in the fruit varieties the wines were well received.
